A little about me, I’m a creative person and have dabbled in many outlets for creativity. Very recently, as I delayed yet another creative project due to telling myself that “I’m not ready,” an excuse that I’ve used so many times before. A reason that has yielded the same result, a big in capital letters, “NOTHING,” nada, zilch. Without action, there is no output, no failure, no success, and no growth. In life, I’ve pushed myself beyond the fear and achieved tremendous goals, and some of those goals were creative in nature. But for some reason, lately, I felt stifled in my ability to begin something new, to take om a new challenge. In my previous experience with goals, there were tight deadlines, time constraints, other responsibilities, and mental blocks, but somehow, I made it through. Could it be that with age, I’ve lost some of that fearlessness?
To stick to a goal and complete a creative task, I’ve decided to welcome you to my first online creative project, a project that I hope I will learn from and that will give me the confidence to tackle the other projects that I have planned.
Through this process, I hope that my writing skills will improve and that you will be entertained by my storytelling skills and enlightened by the characters as they come to life.
Even now, there is doubt, which is exactly why I have to start.
In the form of a blog, this is where My Story Unfolds. Fifty-two vignettes, one per week, every Wednesday, 365 Days of a story that I do not know yet, but through the creative process, I will share with you.
